Shipping Information

Naturally Safe Cosmetics ships to all parts of Australia and uses Australia Post to deliver your parcels. Most orders are despatched within 1-2 business days.

Shipping & handling charges

  • Orders over $100 - FREE standard shipping
  • Order under $100 - $12 standard shipping
  • Express Shipping - $20 (3kg limit)

Free Shipping Threshold

The $100 free shipping threshold does not include shipping charges or discounts.

Express Shipping

  • Maximum 3kg weight limit (packed) – if you pay for Express Post and your order exceeds 3kg, it will be sent via Standard Post and a refund for the difference between Express charges paid and Standard charges payable (if any) will be given
  • Express Shipping dates not guaranteed - Australia Post prioritises Express Post orders but DOES NOT guarantee next day delivery or delivery by a specific date with its eParcel Express Post service - there will be no refund of shipping charges if Australia Post does not deliver by the expected date

Shipping Instructions & Authority To Leave

Customers may include any relevant shipping instructions in the Order Comments Box at checkout, including an Authority to Leave the parcel if no-one is home. Please be specific as to where the parcel is to be left. If you give an Authority to Leave but do not specify location, our shipping carriers will try to leave the parcel in a safe place, if there is one.

If you are not usually at home during the day to take delivery of your parcel, you may prefer to have your parcel delivered to your place of work or to a post office parcel locker.

Whilst we are happy to pass on your delivery instructions, the ultimate decision regarding delivery instructions and whether or not to leave a parcel lies with the delivery person. Naturally Safe Cosmetics does not guarantee that your shipping instructions will be followed by the delivery person.

Naturally Safe Cosmetics accepts no responsibility for the safety of parcels once they have been left at your premises either with or without an Authority to Leave.

PO Boxes

We can ship to PO Boxes. If you provide both a street address AND a PO Box number for your shipping address, we will ship to the PO Box.

Shipping Confirmation

Upon despatch, an email will be sent to you confirming shipment and advising your tracking number. You can track your order on the Australia Post website or by calling Australia Post customer service on +61 13 76 78.

Dangerous Goods

The following items cannot be sent by Express Post:

  • Nail polish & polish remover
  • Perfume
  • Essential oils
  • Insect repellents
  • Products containing ethanol/alcohol

These items must go by road transport - please choose Standard Post for these items. If you pay for Express Post and your order includes these items, your order will be sent by road via Standard Post and we will refund the difference between the Express Shipping fees paid by you and the Standard Shipping fees payable (if any).

Shipping Charges on Multiple Orders

No refund of shipping fees will be payable where multiple separate orders are placed and subsequently combined by us at the time of despatch. By completing each purchase at checkout, the customer agrees to be bound by all of the charges associated with each purchase, including the shipping charges. If you are not happy with the shipping charges quoted at checkout, do not complete the purchase.

Delivery Times

Delivery times will depend on your location and whether your parcel is shipped via standard or express post. See the Australia Post website for more information regarding domestic delivery times.

Delayed Parcels

If your parcel has not arrived within the expected time frame, you can carry out a tracking search via the Australia Post website. Missing or non-delivered parcels must be reported to us within 21 days of despatch of your order so that an investigation can be commenced with Australia Post.

Naturally Safe Cosmetics cannot provide refunds or replacements for delayed parcels once those items are in the hands of Australia Post - whatever the cause. Unless and until items are officially declared lost by Australia Post, the customer will be required to wait for receipt of their parcel.

Naturally Safe Cosmetics will not be responsible for any parcels delayed, lost or not delivered as a result of customers giving the incorrect shipping address, a failed delivery attempt or parcels unclaimed by the customer after notification to collect from post office.

Parcel Returned to Naturally Safe Cosmetics

Australia Post charges us a fee for each parcel that is returned to us due to non-delivery because of incorrect address , no-one in attendance at delivery address or non-collection from the post office. Please ensure you enter your correct delivery address. Please also ensure that you collect your parcel from the post office if you are notified to do so by Australia Post.

The following amounts will be deducted from any refunds that are processed in relation to parcels returned to sender (that's us):

  • the shipping fees we originally paid to send you your parcel if you received free shipping on your purchase; plus
  • a "Return to Sender" fee of $12; plus
  • non-refundable merchant fees paid by us to PayPal, Braintree or Afterpay in relation to the original sale
