Returns & Refunds

Please do not return any item without contacting us first.

Damaged/faulty items

If you receive an item that is damaged or faulty, please contact Naturally Safe Cosmetics within 7 days of receipt or your order to arrange a refund, exchange or store credit. In these circumstances, please follow the returns procedure** below.

Order errors or omissions on the part of Naturally Safe Cosmetics

If you find an error or omission with your order on the part of Naturally Safe Cosmetics, please contact us within 7 days of receipt of your order so we can make arrangements correct the error or omission.

Allergic reaction/sensitivity

We regret that we cannot offer a refund/exchange due to allergic reaction to any product/s. A patch test is recommended when using a new product for the first time.)

Customer error or change of mind

Please choose carefully. We do not generally offer an exchange, refund or store credit if you purchase the wrong product or change your mind. Consider gifting the product to someone who may appreciate it.

Product not to customer's liking

We do not offer a return, refund or store credit where a product is simply not to your liking after you have used it. Consider gifting the product to another person who may appreciate it.

Postage costs not refundable

If Naturally Safe Cosmetics, AT ITS DISCRETION, agrees to a refund, exchange or store credit in a case that does not involve faulty products or an error or omission on its part, the RETURN POSTAGE MUST BE PAID BY THE CUSTOMER. In addition, any POSTAGE CHARGES PAID BY THE CUSTOMER ON THEIR ORIGINAL ORDER will not be refunded/credited.

If the customer qualified for free shipping on their original order and the return of an item or items drop the value of the order below the free shipping threshold, then the shipping charges that would have applied to the original order now being below the shipping threshold will be deducted from any refund.

Any POSTAGE COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH SENDING OUT REPLACEMENT ITEMS will also be the responsibility of the customer. The customer is not entitled to free shipping on any re-sends even if they received free shipping on the original purchase. In this case, the customer will be advised by Naturally Safe Cosmetics of the amount they need to pay for Naturally Safe Cosmetics to send the replacement parcel - this may be greater than the shipping charges advertised on our store and/or the shipping charges paid by the customer on the original shipment (if any), as most shipping costs are subsidised by Naturally Safe Cosmetics.

Order cancellation requests - merchant fees deducted

Where are customer requests that their order be cancelled and refunded before it is shipped, we reserve the right to deduct from the refund any merchant processing fees incurred by us (which are non-refundable to us) in relation to both the original order and/or the refund. This applies to all forms of payment: credit/debit card, PayPal and Afterpay.

**Procedure for returns/exchanges in case of order error/omissions by Naturally Safe Cosmetics and damaged/faulty items

  1. If there is an error with your order on the part of Naturally Safe Cosmetics, or you have received a damaged/faulty item, please contact us within 7 days of receipt of your parcel to advise of the problem with your order or product.
  2. For damaged items, please email us a photo - send to info@naturallysafe.com.au
  3. Where Naturally Safe Cosmetics has agreed to accept return of an incorrect or faulty/damaged item, then that item must be returned to us within 7 days of authority and instructions being given by us to return the item. If you do not return an item/s within 30 days of approval being given and arrangements made with us, then the return approval is deemed to be withdrawn and we will no longer accept the return.
  4. Please do not return any item/s without first making prior arrangements with Naturally Safe Cosmetics.
  5. All goods to be exchanged/refunded must be returned in their original state, i.e. unused and in their original packaging.
  6. Naturally Safe Cosmetics accepts no responsibility for damage or loss to items after they have been delivered or left at the customer's delivery address by Australia Post.

Any approved refunds will be issued in the same form as the original payment.

For international refunds, please note that the amount refunded may differ from the amount originally paid due to the daily fluctuations in international currency exchange rates. The refund amount will be subject to the exchange rate applicable at the date of refund.
